For many years E-Z Systems/Euthanex sold other manufacturers’ carbon filters alongside our anesthesia systems. It came to our attention that these filters did not perform to our high standards and set-out to develop our own carbon filter. Every aspect of these seemingly simple devices was evaluated, the type and quality of the activated carbon, the waste gas flow path and the capacity of the filter, among other factors. What we developed is the best activated carbon filter for veterinary applications on the market.

Our ReFresh filters are double the capacity of the industry standard (100g vs 50g). They incorporate a high anesthetic drug retention and a convenient built-in stand. E-Z Systems ReFresh filters are quickly becoming the new standard for waste gas control in our industry.

The EZ-HP170 Chamber Connection Plate allows the EZ-170 Vented Chamber to be heated using our HB-163 Chamber Warmer. The steel plate sandwiches between the Chamber and the warmer, putting the chamber at the optimal height for use with our EX-IC Exhaust cube.

The EZ-170 vented chamber is designed to be used with the EX-IC Exhaust cube.  This chamber is designed to control waste gas without a “chamber flush”. As the chamber is opened, the exhaust cube will capture any waste gas that escapes. The chamber is constructed out of  ⅜” acrylic and includes a simple flip top for easy placement and removal of larger patients.

The Digital Anesthesia System, AD-5000, enhances the always reliable TEC 3 vaporizer. 

Vivid 7″ Touch Screen

The AD-5000 incorporates a vivid touch screen that allows the operator to have a full range of exciting features. We have incorporated an exclusive digital flow control that gives the user a precise range of .5 to 2.5 LPM. The digital anesthesia system controls 3 outputs. This allows the user to run an induction chamber with two additional breathers. With our exclusive flow circuit, the user chooses any combination of outputs while our digital flow control automatically adjusts for the correct flow rates. The induction chamber and breathing circuits include an elapsed timer for accurate monitoring.

New Digital Warming Surgery Beds

We have further advanced our system to include digital warming beds to help maintain the patients’ body temperature during surgical procedures. Each of the warming circuits displays the individually controlled set temperature. All settings made in the administrator options are password-protected to safeguard controls from tampering individuals. When all procedures are complete, simply press the “Done” button, and our system shuts down in the proper sequence ensuring a longer life for your equipment.
